Where it heats

The heating element sits across the upper back, between the shoulder blades (from our supplier's product images).

We prefer to be clear: the front panels and the sides do not heat. They are there to hold the warmth in, thanks to the knitted outer layer and the velvet lining.

Is a battery included?

No, battery not included. WarmWrap works with any USB power bank (5V/2A). It also runs from a USB port on a laptop or a USB wall adapter.

How long does it stay warm on a power bank?

Our supplier does not give a runtime, so here is our estimate, calculated on the highest setting (about 10 W maximum draw, supplier figure) with typical power bank losses. Lower settings last longer.

5,000 mAh power bank: about 1.5 hours
10,000 mAh: about 3 hours
20,000 mAh: about 6 hours

Does the whole wrap heat up?

No. The heating element is across the upper back, between the shoulder blades. The front and sides keep the warmth in but do not heat.

How warm does it get?

About 104 °F on Low, 113 °F on Medium and 122 °F on High, according to our supplier.

Can I wash it?

Yes, our supplier states it is washable. Always unplug the cable and take the power bank out of the pocket before washing.

Will it fit me?

WarmWrap is one size: about 59 x 31.5 in (150 x 80 cm) laid flat. It covers the shoulders and upper arms and zips closed at the front.

Can I use it in the car or while traveling?

Yes, with a power bank it goes anywhere: the car, the office, the bleachers, a chilly terrace. Do not use it plugged in and switched on during a flight, and follow your airline's rules for carrying power banks.

Can I sleep in it?

Please don't sleep with WarmWrap switched on. Turn it off before you doze off.

When will I get it?
